The Razor Kit, usually simply referred to as Razor is a sprite kit made by Marty Razor Kirra and one of the first kits to appear on BZPower. As a result, it is considered extremely iconic.

It was very popular for its ease of use and has been featured in many comic series over the years, such as Bionicle Star Wars, Psycho Dogs and Carbonated Beverages, and even some of the earliest incarnations of Exo's Comics. It is also known for being widely used in movies, such as Dark709's Comics: The Movie, Varaka's movie, and many others. Its most well known use in comics was Bionicle Star Wars. As of today, it is used in Varaka's latest comics, Intelligent Comics, Philipnova798's Comic Factory 2.0 as the sprites for Philipnova798 himself, Dino Girl, Gatling Gun Henry, Hewkii, Jaller, Hahli, Mustard Matoran and Random Blue Matoran among other characters. It is also used today in Darklight's Comics.
Razor was also often lampooned in Livin' the Sprite Life due to its association with stereotypical comic making at the time.

Recent History
As time went on, the kit's popularity died out with advents of new kits, such as Rayg 2.5, RZMIK, and Chimoru. However, numerous attempts to keep the kit alive are underway.
Within the past few years, Marty Razor Kirra released a new version of his Razor kit with some help from Dark709 (in particular on the feet). This kit was dubbed Matoran Project 5, and was lauded for its improvements over the original kit by spriters such as Dokuma. However, the kit has since been largely forgotten in the public mind.
Trivia
- Contrary to popular belief, Razor is not the first sprite kit.
- Razor is sometimes wrongly abbreviated as RZ, which is short for Rahi Zaku.
